Liz’s Boudoir Journey

Liz shares her experience with her boudoir session

Liz came to me while going through a tough divorce. She had just packed up and moved half way across the country to be closer to her family. I could tell from the first time I talked to her that even though her situation wasn’t ideal, she was going to be positive and upbeat about her future. I am excited to share her journey with you.

“I booked my session after entering a giveaway for a free session fee. A friend of mine had shared Steph’s information and encouraged me to enter the giveaway she was offering. I briefly looked at her work and instantly fell in love. I was really excited about the session however, a little nervous because I have never done anything like this before.”

How was the experience?

“The experience was AMAZING. It’s so hard to put into words how I felt. Steph and Bekah put me at ease and talked me up the whole time. For the first time my life I felt sexy; not just sexy in a sensual sense, but sexy as in strong, confident and badass.

Steph and Bekah (make-up/assistant) greeted me with mimosas and music of my choice. We chatted while I had my make-up and hair done, which helped put me at ease. The first few poses felt a little awkward but both ladies helped me feel comfortable and gave very specific direction for posing. We did various poses and changed outfits several times to get a variety of shots. They empowered me to celebrate who I am.”

How did it feel seeing your images?

“I was stunned, absolutely speechless. I had no idea I could look like that! I saw myself through a completely different lens. This session has completely changed the way I view myself and it has allowed me to take back my power, living the life I deserve. Since doing the boudoir session, I have felt empowered and absolutely love my body the way it is. Historically, I’ve been self-conscious about having “small” breasts, but this session proved to me that I am sexy and perfect the way I was created.”

Would you recommend having a boudoir session with Steph?

“I highly recommend that everyone do a boudoir session at least once. It is an amazing, powerful, healing experience. It’s worth the investment. I’d advise others just to book the session – Don’t wait until you’re more confident, lose a few extra pounds, etc. Just book it now, thank me later. I cannot wait to do another session.”
